João Pedro Funiscello de Sousa graduated in Law from Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie in 2019. He is a member of the Brazilian Bar Association (Ordem dos Advogados do Brasil), the Brazilian Institute of Criminal Sciences (IBCCRIM) and the Institute for the Defense of the Right to Defense (IDDD). He is an attorney with over ten years of experience in Corporate Criminal Law. He practices litigation, representing clients—whether suspects, defendants, victims and/or interested third parties—at all judicial levels and before public bodies responsible for criminal prosecution activities (judicial police, Public Prosecutor’s Office, public administration and parliamentary inquiry commissions). In addition, he provides legal advisory services, preparing legal opinions, technical notes and compliance programs.
